i promise, those last two posts were not me. and i don't have much to say other than that.

oh how about this. sometimes i hate bands just because they have really dumb names, like editors and le tigre. another such 'band' is final fantasy. but instead of aptly judging the band by its name, as in the former case, i was very wrong on this one. listen:

i just got an email from "art rock" duo eagle & talon saying they'll be in town tomorrow to play a show at the varsity with sia. they might come do an in-studio, should a tuesday dj be interested, and have spots on their guestlist if anyone is interested in going to the show. if you are, send me an email at aberge@macalester.edu and i will let them know.
their music is aight, and they are pretty cute.

well,
this is the article i was going to write after sxsw (i would have named it down with grups), but new york magazine beat me to it.

if you get to the fifth page, you get this golden nugget:
