the only thing that would get me more excited would be if someone described it by saying "johnny greenwood plays a shitload of guitar on this one"...but yeah it seems pretty clever. i sure feel guilted into paying for it. but, cool as it might be, i can't really see this destroying the record industry because there's about zero bands with the clout of radiohead (am i wrong about this?) so it strikes me as more of a cool thing a really credibility-obsessed band is doing.
only tangentially related: have you heard pj's new album? i really want to.
I think this strategy sort of obscures the question of whether the music's going to be any good. Maybe they're doing it this way because the songs are terrible. But I hope not.
Haven't heard the Peej. I know Rick's been wanting to weigh in on it. If only she had more clout.
i bet in her personal life pj has as much clout as all the members of radiohead combined times ten
