Tune in this Saturday from 2-4 PM, as I, Gautam Mani, attempt to pay tribute to Joy Division and New Order as part of the Great DJ Rotation Experiment. It's really a futile effort to try to condense the ensemble accomplishments of Ian Curtis, Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris, and as part of New Order, Gillian Gilbert, into two hours, for they have influenced far more bands than they have received credit for. However, the timing of this tribute couldn't be better. The new Ian Curtis biopic, Control, makes its Twin Cities debut this Friday at the Uptown Theatre.

Hope you all tune in.

On another note, the new edition of Liner Notes should be out before the end of the week.
