The November 1st edition of Liner Notes (Paper copies out by the end of the day today). If you'll notice, I've switched up the rating system for the reviews. Enjoy the issue.

Is Neil Young at the station? I'd love to hear it, though your criticisms are probably apt.

On the subject of covers, I have to mention The Wedding Present, who were famous for putting covers on their b-sides and who managed some pretty stellar versions of The Go Betweens' "Cattle and Cane", The Monkees' "Pleasant Valley Sunday", and Angelo Badalamenti's "Falling" (for real) back in the early 90s. These all come close to equalling, or even surpassing, the originals.
